Christmas Gift Guide for Teens

I’ve been hearing lately from a few moms that they are finding Christmas shopping for their teens difficult.  Hey, I often will pick up something for the girls to bring it home and find out that it’s not “cool”, even though I thought it was adorable.  So, I’ve polled my kids and have come up with some gift suggestions that they have approved…and I’m thinking that the teens in your life will things they are ok too!

1.  Illuminating Trio The big trend in makeup right now is highlighting and you can get a nice natural glow with this limited edition set, which is paraben free $49

2.  Eyeshadow Palette According to my girls, this is the only eye palette you will ever need with 12 shades including shimmers and mattes, neutrals and taupes.  Because it also has black, you can create a smokey or dramatic look as well $66

3.  Cape Ok, this cape is really great for any female on your list!  We have talked about this cape before and we are still just in love with it!  It’s so comfortable…you feel like you are wearing a blanket.  It comes in 8 colors and it looks super cute over almost anything.  They do fit large, so I would recommend going a size down $75

4.  Chocker This is definitely THE accessory for girls this season. I love this neutral classy take on the trend.  And it can be worn several ways $45

5.  Highlight & Contour Palette 8 shades for highlighting and contouring…and such a great price $27

6.  Nike Air Max Theas These are my girls’ favorite.  Super lightweight and supportive and they look good at the gym and out for a casual night.  Available in several colors $113-$145

7.  S’Well Bottle This is great for guys and girls.  So many cool patterns to pick from.  This bottle keeps your drink cold for 24 hours and hot for 12 hours and the double-walled stainless steel is non-toxic, non-leaching and BPA free $45

8.  Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker This speaker is durable…shockproof and waterproof.  Wireless up to 32 feet and playtime up to 20 hours…and you won’t believe the sounds that comes out of this thing! $130

10. Sneakers The ultimate retro shoe.  They look great with joggers, jeans and every rolled up chinos.  I know that they are super comfortable as Jason and I both have them $110

11. Ping Pong Table  This makes an amazing family gift.  Mac recently bought a table and I can’t tell you how many hours we have played ping pong and it gets rather competitive.  Such a great thing to have when the kids’ friends come over.  To avoid disappointment Christmas morning, be sure to also order a paddle set.  This table also has playback and storage positions $398
