Dressing over the holidays is a bit tricky here on the West Coast. It can be super wet and mild, or cold and crisp. We could have snow, or it could be sunny! Every year is totally different. The name of the game is layers. My go to is a wrap coat, a blanket scarf, skinny jeans and comfortable booties. A wrap coat works really well over layers…and after a few large meals! And a blanket scarf is a must. You never know what the temperature will be inside, so it’s nice to have something to layer with if it’s a bit cool.
I love these booties. I usually wear a bit of a heel as I’m vertically challenged, but the gold hardware and color blocking on these boots really dresses them up. I get compliments on them every time I wear them, and they are super affordable…and comfortable!
This outfit is very comfortable and cozy but still looks put together. And I need to give the hubster creds here…he surprised me with this coat as an early Christmas gift. He done good!
