Happy Labor Day friends! This day is always bittersweet for me. The “sweet” part is that we are always together with family. An annual volleyball tournament shakes down in our backyard complete with double hits, carries and trash talking. The other tradition? The choosing of the “first day of school” outfit and hair do. Lexi and Nina’s Aunty Jayme comes every Labor Day eve to take the girls upstairs for the necessary consultations. Well, Nina is doing Distance Ed once again this year, so Lexi will get Aunty Jayme to herself… Huge kudos to Auntie Jay!
There’s also a little sadness at the marked end of summer days. The kids are one year older and growing up at breakneck speed. i find myself fighting butterflies in my stomach!
This year, i’m making some purposeful changes to embrace fall, which i’ll be sharing with you on Friday. I need a couple of days to ensure i’m on track! I’ll be talking about what i’m doing to keep my chin up and my body moving these next couple of months. Goal setting in progress…
