Transitioning to Fall

The first day of back to school was a decidedly fall day…and without committing fully to the change of season, i did dress in the best transitional way: layers!

i’ve had my eye on d’orsay flats for almost a year..and finally got me some this past summer. I chose these because of the versatility of the neutral coloured toe and black heel. The nude colour elongates legs, which i’m all for! I also felt that they were reasonably priced for a flat that i will be able to wear often.

This time of year is a bit of a “see-saw” of temps…it can be freezing cold or muggy and hot within minutes. A breathable, short sleeve top with a sweater cardi is my go to.

And a stretchy skinny jean can accomodate the post summer “GASP” that happened after not wearing them for a couple months…darn you summer cocktails and s’mores!
