Sweater Weather

There was a time i shied away from wearing sweaters.  I felt they added bulk to my frame…and that was definitely not a look i was trying to achieve.  I look back and i think i just wasn’t looking for the right style that worked for me. So i may be a little older now, but i’d like to think i’m a bit smarter too. I now embrace these cozy knits and most often look for more refined sweaters paired with leggings to keep my proportions in check. This cashmere sweater is super warm and comfy but not oversized….a good style for my more pear shaped figure. And the slimmer bottom, leather front leggings, keep bulk at bay.

Not shocking, even with a cozy outfit, i like to add a bit of sparkle… this JCrew Factory crystal necklace can be worn with pretty much everything in my closet…and i love the simple compliment of silver bangles, including the delicate KV Bijou Cuff. bulldog2

A lightweight chambray shirt is perfect for wearing underneath…if you’re like me, the thicker denim ones just create an extra layer i don’t need…keep it lightweight!
