Blog Launch Party- Sneak Peek

Well I think I’ve finally caught my breath… Here are some sneak peek pics of our blog launch party this past Saturday. Couldn’t have done it without the help of some very special people…Denise, Andrea, Jayme, Renee, Britt, Dani, Jana..to name a few…you are rock stars!!!! Not to mention our special guests: Ron and Randy from Afterthoughts who kept people warm and cozy with lattes, espresso and hot chocolate…. Veronica and Amerit of Shoppers Drug Mart, who brought cosmetic samples for our guests to bring home..and Rob of Milsean Shoppe who provided some of their decadent DemeraraButter Crunch for each guest.

The night has finally arrived! Cheers!

We used quince in many of our arrangements..didn't even know what quince was until a friend brought a ton of it over from her backyard!

This arrangement is proof that (minus the mercury glass mushrooms) you can make an arrangment from items foraged in your backyard! Even the runner...created by weaving iris grasses

Rose trio to go with Pam's new glam master bedroom closet

Caramelized Onion and Goat Cheese flat breads in process..

The food is ready...dig in!

We wanted a full house..so this picture makes me happy!

A shout out to some pretty cool dudes who also worked the party for us: Scott, Jason, Shawn and Matt…you had the bar, the cars and everything else “manly” covered! Watch for upcoming posts where we will break down the elements of our launch party in more detail…food, decor, drinks, interior design. And it’s all “do it yourself” so start planning your next soiree…FUN!

I couldn’t believe how many choices of food you had! I can’t wait for you to describe the drink I had (made by Scott and Shawn). Looking forward to hearing more!
