Dresses are my go to in summer…I love the ease and flow that comes with a casual dress. Maybe it’s because I don’t love my legs (just keepin it real here ha!), but I’m definitely most comfortable in a breathable midi to maxi length dress. This summer we’ve had to layer up a bit more than we have in past which hasn’t been ideal, but I haven’t given up on summer clothing. Not gonna happen. Layering is the name of the game! If you had a chance to read my travel packing blog post, you might remember that I talked about the perfect chambray shirt. I am getting a ton of wear out of mine…not only wearing it on its own, but even more so, layering it overtop. I like that it can be just as easily worn tied around the waist. And lastly, the chambray look. Can’t go wrong with it. It really does go with everything so this might be a place where you’re ok with investing a bit more in a quality soft piece.
Here’s hoping we can keep wearing dresses well into fall…we’ve got the layering thing down pat so we should be good to go!
