We have enjoyed unseasonably warm weather here in Vancouver this last week, but they say the rain is a-coming. It’s tough to know how to dress in the spring with large swings in the temperature so it really is all about layers. Even on nice warm days, the temps dip down in the evening. A spring staple for me is a vest! You can wear it over a short-sleeved tee on warmer days…or for me when I have those private summers…ughhh. Or you can wear long sleeves or even a plaid button down and add a scarf on cooler ones.
I found this vest a few weeks back at Nordstrom Rack and the amazing news is it is still available online! And for the record, I planned my outfit before I saw this pic online…truth!
I love the longer length of the vest and you can cinch in the waist as much or as little as you like with the interior draw cord. The dark army green color acts as a neutral so you can wear it with pretty much anything.
This vest is super versatile. It’s casual paired with ripped boyfriend jeans and retro sneakers. Or block heel sandals dress it up a bit. I have a feeling that this vest will become part of my spring uniform!
