I love snow (that is as long as i’m not driving in it!). So when i have the chance to enjoy it for even a brief moment, consider it a done deal. Such was the situation with this post…on a drive up to the interior this past weekend, the winter surroundings were too beautiful to pass up. I had a chance to get my toque on and Lincoln had a chance to do some quick snowball throwing!
Colder temperatures give us a chance to layer cozy pieces and patterns…even plaids. Don’t be scared to mix em up! A cozy blanket scarf is always in the car with me this time of the year. This one is a favourite…and feels festive especially at Christmas time.. And the toque, or shall i call it a beanie, is my new favourite! The little fur poof is removable if you want to keep it a little more subtle. Personally, i think the poof is what makes this beanie so special! The little leather tab at the front sports Proverbs 31:25 which words are “She is clothed with strength and dignity; and she laughs without fear of the future”. A beautiful truth to remember.
