It’s no surprise that i love maxi dresses. I seem to have accumulated my fair share of them not only because they are extremely comfortable but because they really are the quintessential summer wardrobe staple. The easy movement of long draped fabric is something i gravitate towards…its what gets worn as well as packed in my suitcase over and over again. While many maxi dresses seem to lean towards casual, this Rachel Pally dress stood out to me for its versatility..the low v-back instantly gives a more formal note to this dress, yet the soft jersey material keeps it completely wearable. Actually more than wearable, it’s super comfortable! A dress with heels that’s comfortable? YES!
OK..i don’t like to show a lot of skin, so i was a little leery at first. But keeping in mind that we should play off our good parts and camouflage our not-so-good parts, this style seemed to be a good fit. I won’t go so far as to say the S word…yep, sexy…but it feels just a bit mischievous shall we say??
