Spring Neutral Shoes

Pam's mules

Neutral shoes are huge this spring, and if you are vertically challenged like I am, this is a VERY good thing!  Neutral shoes help to elongate the legs, making you seem taller than you are.

I feel like this spring there are a lot of new shoes styles making an appearance…move aside platforms and ballet flats….say hello to the new kids in town!

Mules are back….but this time with a heel strap making them much more practical and comfortable to wear.  This is the perfect shoe to transition the seasons as they are boot-like!  Perforated leather is huge….bootie style sandals are a new go for dress-up.  Ankle strap heels are very simple and lady like.  And low wedge sandals are replacing gladiators. Pair skinny jeans or ankle trousers with  D’orsays instead of ballet flats.

Here are some of my neutral faves for spring…

While we were in Phoenix, I did stop by the Nordstrom shoe department and just “happened” to come out with two pairs of shoes!  I couldn’t help myself.  The Dolce Vita Harolyn Booties have become an casual staple that I find myself wearing almost everyday!  And the Louise et Cie Olivia 2 Sandals are some of the most comfy heels that I have ever had!!  Two good investments I’d say…couldn’t afford not to!
