Spiced Lamb for Hushwie
 
 
Serves: 4 servings
Ingredients
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 500 grams ground lamb
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon coriander
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon red chili flakes
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • freshly ground pepper
Instructions
  1. Over medium heat, heat a large frying pan with the olive oil.
  2. Add the ground lamb and cook, breaking the meat up with a spoon as you go.
  3. Once meat is no longer pink, add onions and garlic and cook until soft.
  4. Add spices and cook about 5 minutes longer.
  5. Use in your lamb hushwie bowls.
